Tomas Bertok (CTO) – Tomas has 16 years of experience in nanotechnology and applied biochemistry gained mostly during his work at the Institute of Chemistry, Slovak Academy of Sciences. He focuses on preclinical validations, biomarker discovery and assay development, implementation, and design of innovative diagnostic tests. He holds many prestigious grants, awards, and scholarships. He also devotes his time to numerous popularization activities and lectures.

He published more than 55+ scientific papers with 1500+ citations (h-index 22), he is author of 2 books and another 3 book chapters. He is/was supervisor of 5 PhD. students.
